Teachers, parents and guardians:  please read on - Our objectives are to encourage minors (under the age of 16) to enjoy both reading and writing, with the additional incentive of having their work showcased on-line and also in being able to enter writing competitions. Interacting with this site should inspire youngsters to use computers for something other than games! Writers from our sister site, (for writers over 16 years of age), are also able to contribute writing that is suitable for schools.  We are committed to ensuring that the school´s site is a safe environment and that the content on schools is suitable for minors (under the age of 16); to this end we employ content filters and we moderate the content before publication. We also ask for the co-operation of our users in alerting us to any materials that they may feel are inappropriate. Thank you.
